Soon, players will be given an alloted amount of time to go to court and make a plea. Players who attempt to avoid making a plea will have a warrant issued for their arrest. Citizen cops will recieve a monetary bonus for handcuffing suspects with warrants based on the severity of the alleged crime.

The trial system will be fair, but will account for the occassional guilty person going free and innocents being convicted. Crimes can have a monetary penalty as well as a sentence.

The progress on the court system isn't ready yet, but it is coming together I promise.

I will also need to overhaul the jail set-up. I'd forgotten what it's like to have a dependable operating system.

The game is still quite unplayable. Pre-alpha you could say and still quite skeletal. It will take a while to flesh it out enough to be really enjoyable but I have received some compliments as well as great feedback. I hope to get some coding done between Saturday and Sunday night.

I'm most proud of having a working day/night cycle. Daylight lasts from 7am to 7pm U.S. EST (GMT-5).
