That's the question that's been on my mind. I'd like to see this go somewhere but I've found my plate quite full. I barely even have time to procrastinate.

The Return of Citizen

Well, I've decided to revive this mess. The first thing I've been contemplating is switching players and objects to multi-tile icons. I've had some success messing around with it (while creating a AC:WW style fruit bearing tree). I've gotta work on some issues with how my weird perspective will look multi-tiled.

Update: Report Crime!!

Citizen's may now report a crime at the police station (labeled CPD). Soon, players will be given an alloted amount of time to go to court and make a plea. Players who attempt to avoid making a plea will have a warrant issued for their arrest. Citizen cops will recieve a monetary bonus for handcuffing suspects with warrants based on the severity of the alleged crime.

The trial system will be fair, but will account for the occassional guilty person going free and innocents being convicted. Crimes can have a monetary penalty as well as a sentence.

The progress on the court system isn't ready yet, but it is coming together I promise.

I will also need to overhaul the jail set-up. I'll give convicts more things to do while they're in. I may perhaps even allow for a way to make an escape. Of course fugitives could and would be severely punished if caught

5(this goes with dumpsters) days of the week event tell u what day it is like monday tuesday wednesday. and every monday thursday and sunday the garbage trucks will come and empty them (this will affect with after you eat your candy bar it becomes a wrapper in your invertory and u can throw it away same with cans there should be a option to say crush can and throw away. to have this to work you gotta be enar a garbage can to throw and trash away.

If i come with any new ideas i'll post them.

6.street lights that go on when its midnight and turn off when dawn ro suns comes back this will make the actually event of night time to come and it becomes dark and street lights give off like only 5 blocks of light and doesnt cover all to make it look like its dark. also policemen should be able to have and wield a weapon also have its trusty flash light to go in the alley ways to catch drug dealers.

Byond Directory Icons, Evil Buses, Color & Google Forum Ads!

I've added a small and large icon for the game's listing in the byond directory. Perhaps that'll bring in some more play-testers.

I will continue to focus on coding for property acquisition, the voting system and player customizing.

I've added some color (as per Mayor Delamore's request) to the chat system. There's a bug that cause the bus to chase whoever "waits for bus" at the bus stop instead of just approaching and stopping. I've disable the bus spawn, though "waiting for the bus" will still take you to one of two large empty fields and then back downtown. The apartment rent code is almost working right.

I've also added google ads to the in-game forum. Nothing like the possibility of making a dent in my debt to encourage me to really work on Citizen.
